This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and retain data from users (Runners) and their loved ones (Supporters).
Processing is carried out by the publisher of the Cobbr application.
We limit collection to what is strictly necessary to operate the service:
For Runners: Information required to register (e.g. email address, name or nickname).
For Supporters: Only the voice recording of the cheer. Supporters are not required to create an account, and no other data (identifiers, contacts, location) is collected from them without their knowledge.
Data is collected solely in order to:
Enable creation of a unique sharing link.
Record and store voice messages so they can be played to the Runner during their activity.
Digital sobriety is central to our service.
Duration: All data relating to voice messages and race sessions is automatically deleted from our servers 30 days after the end date of the event for which it was recorded.
Retention is strictly limited to what is described above.
The Runner’s account data is kept for as long as the account remains active.
Confidentiality: Voice recordings are only accessible to the Runner through the application. We do not sell or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Hosting: Data is stored on secure servers that meet applicable protection standards.
Under applicable law (including the GDPR), you have the following rights:
Right of access and rectification: You can update your information at any time.
